I know it's an old story, but remember when Bono was on stage once rhythmically clicking his fingers to a silent crowd who were wondering what it was about. Then he solemnly told the crowd, "every time I click my fingers - a child in Africa dies" and then from the silence one guy yelled "STOP CLICKING YOUR FINGERS THEN YOU C*NT"

My mums cousin is Alan Lancaster, one of the founder members. But they are a mediocre pub rock band, who just happened to be in the right place at the right time, and appeal to people who have decided they like sound, but not music.

To be fair, I don't really know enough Kate Bush to have said that. Running Up That Hill was on the other radio the other day and I couldn't help thinking Placebo did a much better job.

Careful, Placebo covers are a gateway drug. That said, I love Placebo, very under rated in my book and their version of 'Daddy Cool' is blindingly good.

The lets dance album is my favourite. I know at the time it was panned as being too pop and mainstream but I particularly like criminal world. Great song

They were never quite good enough for me to obsess over, but I thought Black Market Music (for its time at least) was a very good album and therefore underrated.
