If Snodgrass had tried to ride the tackle then surely the easiest way to avoid it happening would have been to have jumped over the non sliding Scott Dann instead of leaving your legs trailing in the hope of any contact.
If Snodgrass was that concerned of getting injured then he might as well retire.

..the ref made the mistake not Snodgrass because as the law stands players can try their luck and get away with it during the game and retrospectively, because it actually looked so bad he had no choice but to come clean and admit it, but it really is down to the FA to stamp on this and quick because it will never go away until they do.

If you had watched the 2016 FA Cup Final you would have witnessed "Mark" not playing some brilliant advantages.

Guess it depends whom you play for.

I have already commented on the incidents to which you refer.
The way people pilloried Clattenburg on here one would think they were good goalscoring opportunites - far from it.

Anyway, nothing further to add as it will only evolve into a "Clattenburg" thread.I've commented enough on this issue.

ONLY, if there's 'Intent'

You cant prove intent. Still cant be arsed to look it up but if my memory serves me it goes something like " a player taking avoiding action of a reckless challenge" (big paraphrase ish ). Still Snodgrass cheated pure and simple.

He was way out on the left, so it certainly wasn't a "Clear goalscoring opportunity".

I have already passed comment on this and expressed these same sentiments so nothing more to add.No point re-gurgitating all of this.

You CAN prove intent & like you I cant be arsed to 'para-phrase' either. As a ref of nigh on 40 years, I think im slight better placed than you to know the laws of the game....

..it's the ref's interpretation of an incident, they have far too much responsibility these days ..he will no doubt be asked by his superiors as to how he ferked it up and he will no doubt be penalised in some way, so it is in his favour not to ferk up these moments and he will feel very embarrassed and silly, hopefully they are all discussing ways of how to not let players cheat by agreeing new rules which involves another official.
