You having a laff? Not Pardew's fault because he's not on the pitch? Not the defence's fault for letting Snodgrass into the box? Defenders getting walked through? Going 1-2 up and not being able to shut-up-shop to get 3 points against Hull with their form? Going 3-2 down with only a goal from Campbell to eek out a draw? Hull had that game won and would be feeling unlucky at the end. Oh, now we need points do we? But don't think about that Pardew in preseason before we meet WBA (THAT'S where at least one lot of 3 points should have been won). There's a nincompoop in the club and he's not on the pitch.

Within a year a similar thread will be up moaning about the s*** quality of football fat head plays. Happens at every club he goes to.

..and all the ones moaning now will be thinking quietly to themselves about the days not too long ago when Palace were actually quite exciting.

..rather fortunate I would imagine really, before their third Benteke was clearly fouled in the box and you can see the culprit looking at the ref with relief and they all knew about the pen during half time, only Chelsea and perhaps Arsenal can shut up shop at this moment in time in the premiership so stop being silly.

We are exciting to watch,we've scored about 10/11 goals in the last 3/4 games, unfortunately we've let in more but its certainly exciting.

Wish I was a neutral.

Three games ..we've scored ten with eight against.
Four games ..we've scored eleven with ten against.

...and do not forget the pen against Hull had nothing whatsoever to do with football.

And while being an entertaining mess(Daily Express ),still managed to lose 6 games in a row.Now of course,we have merely lost 7 out of 8,with a view that many share,of possibly securing ONE point in the next4 games.
This form has relegation written all over it,but sure is exciting,as you see it.

Wrong! You get so excited about having a dig, you cannot get the facts right.
2 free games coming up, where we have no pressure of expectancy, it may just surprise you.

..calm down! only against Leicester and Liverpool have we lost by more than one goal ..3-1 and 4-2, if we are being soundly beaten I will be worried but we are not and haven't been since we gained promotion, our goal diff is only bettered by Southampton by one before it becomes positive, which is why I am positive about this team, the defending has improved during the last two games and it will improve more during these tough fixtures coming up, wait and see.

Surely the fair play rules still exist?
That being the case, unless we move players out or remove them from the squad and spunk their wages then we will struggle to be able to buy - or have I got that wrong?

I'm far from an expert on the rules, but I believe there was a 2013 based 3-year spending cap, which greatly reduced their flexibility to spend.

Parish was talking about it over the summer --that in January they had no room to buy anyone, thus Ade on a free was the best they could get. He mentioned that with the 3 year cap ticking on Palace now had lots of room to spend.

There is a really good article on it, but the gist is: "Specifically, clubs whose player service costs are more than £52 million will only be allowed to increase their wages by £4 million per season for the three years from 2013/14. However this restriction only applies to the income from TV money, so any additional money from higher gate receipts, new sponsorship deals or profits from player sales can still be spent on wages."

Because Palace gets most of its revenue from TV money, it was up against the cap, while bigger teams with other revenue streams had plenty of room to spend.

If you want more detail, the article is here:

That makes it all ok then.

Feck me your clutching at straws gets even more desperate. Soon you'll be claiming more corners or throw ins as some sort of victory.

Sam would be a disaster.

Least atm players want to play with us and see us, or at least saw us as a team going somewhere, Dann and Tompkins quoted as much.

Big sam would see us become West Brom part 2 and we'd all relish the prem each year no doubt, but the ambitions of playing good football and attracting named players like Cabaye in years to come will be a little more difficult I think.

I think Mancini will prove a better bet, if and when the time comes. Or Ive always thought Ex Bradford manager, now Bolton manager Phil Parkinson was destined for the prem..

Birmingham have announced they have sacked Gary Rowett. One can only speculate as to whether they have lined-up Allardyce.

They would be sensible to take him asap - he will get them up this or next season I expect as long as funds and pies are available!
