Care to elaborate? Hmmm, not on here really no. Put it this way though,the person who told my friend, is a good friend of someone well placed within hierarchy of the club. I was told nothing more than there is some truth in the stories. The fact that Sky Sports are reporting it, would suggest that there is some truth in it. Whether it happens or not is another story.

Really don't want to see Bentekers sold at this point in the season. Not sure it would be the most sensible of moves unless there is clearly a replacement in place. Saying that he has cost us points this season as well winning them for us. Over recent weeks I have not been overly convinced with his general work rate and enthusiasm. Sadly if he is not in the right frame of mind to roll his sleeves up and be prepared for a battle over the coming months then maybe just maybe now is the time to move him on. In the position that we currently find ourselves in we need a squad of players who wear that Palace shirt with pride and passion.

He's a bit sh1t for £28mill if we are being honest but he is the best we have at the moment. If we can get someone just as average as him and for half the price then yes of course sell for £30million. He can head a ball. Whoopy-doo. This comment makes me question your knowledge of the game. How much is each goal worth in the PL these days. I'm confident he'll have paid us back come the end of the season.

Why would we want to sell the best striker we have had in years. I feel he gets a rough deal. Yes, the guy does not work as hard as he could, but he is isolated a lot of the time. He hasn't peaked and he has scored AS MANY GOALS AS SO FAR THAN OUR TOP GOALSCORER LAST SEASON. Fans make you laugh! Everyone wants a proven premier league goal scorer, you buy one and then people moan because he doesn't run around alot. Perhaps we should spend the proceeds on one of these sucesses;
