Winning ugly... the sign of a great team! In all seriousness though, hopefully this can deliver some confidence and momentum to take into Saturday. Ward and Townsend are gonna be feeling it on Saturday (if they are to start). Good on Benteke, he's looked woefully short on confidence and form recently so fairplay to come on and bag a brace. That's 10 in 20 which I'm sure we'd have taken that at this stage in the season. Now if only he'd have scored those 2 penalties and been given some service in the last 10 or so games he could have easily had 15 in 20! Not so bad after all Edited by samprior (17 Jan 2017 10.22pm)

Well done on the win today and good luck in the next round against City. Hope Big Sam keeps you up. Always had a lot of time for Palace fans but some of the posts I read on here are pretty disrespectful to our club and it makes me wonder how many of your fans have lost a sense of reality. Calling us "league one s***e" and other disrespectful names is not something any team who has held its own home and away deserves.

Sadly, some elements of CPFC support are fully paid-up members of the Premier League Elite and don't know / have forgotten where we've come from and what football is actually all about. Your tribe may be sh1t / scum / the enemy or whatever, but you get respect for being part of your tribe through thick and thin. Good luck for the rest of the season.
