Since we have 25 contracted senior players we can not add end of transfer window. Unless papers were lodged last night

Yes we can, we can sign free transfers and add them to the 25 man squad if we make room for them by moving a player on in the loan window which I believe is next week?

Tim Vickery on talksport just said if we can get him fit he is a very very good player who is hard as nails and can play either right or left full back. he also said he is good going forward and tough tackling. Vickery said if I was at Palace I would bring him in.

Yes we have over 25 eligible players, but we don't need to name them all. We could leave any number of them out if we want to. If we have a space left in the 25 man squad and given Caceres was a free agent *before* the window opened, then we would be able to sign and register him. We would be taking a risk that we were going to sign him by leaving someone out, but we can absolutely choose to do so.
