Edited by nickgusset (09 Dec 2017 9.07pm) The Corbyn speech in your link wasn’t really about the EU, it was his ‘vision’ for International governance and operation. It is fanciful. I can only conclude that there is no such thing as a ‘Corbyn Brexit’ and neither Corbyn or Labour, have any vision for Brexit.

Access to Single Market is possible but if the EU wants unfettered access to the UK market, then any access to the Single Market will have to be on terms that reflect Britain’s independence & that British law and institutions govern disputes between EU and British companies.

People voted for Brexit for a variety of reasons so it's wrong to say that voters specifically rejected certain aspects of the EC as no-one really knows. I voted Brexit but no-one knows why and it wasn't to get rid of the supremacy of the ECJ

The referendum was advisory not enshrined so he wil have room to manoeuvre whilst Brexiting whether the 51.8 like what he is doing or not. The lot running the show now, if they can somehow shut out the Hard Brexiteers, will dilute and soften Brexit as much as possible without doing a Norway imo. A no one wins scenario but a begrudging that will have to do from all sides.

The reality here IMO is that the PM had to dash to Brussels to agree the EU terms for starting talks only about trade starting next February. The 15 page 'agreement' is sketchy and all up for future discussion notably the Irish border. Just cobbled together to meet the EU deadline.

I have no ire yet with the government on Brexit as they have triggered Article 50 and we are leav8ng the EU. Time will tell what Brexit we get.

The government and the EU has said we are leaving the Single market. We won’t, for a multitude of reasons including but not limited to the faults inherent in the ‘Norway deal’, which both the EU and the Norwegians wish could be changed. A key sticking point and cause of trauma is the Norway/Sweden border. The manner in which it is managed will not be replicated Northern Ireland/ROI border. We are going to get a UK\EU deal because this situation is unprecedented.
