Wilf eased off the ball in front of goal by Bellerin for that "header" or was it a pen ?

With that ref? A pen for us? Are you joking?

He was so biased it beggared belief. I don't think he gave Wilf a single decision in the whole game.

Not bad considering what we faced, don’t get the Benteke haters, if we were dominating possession and he was missing loads of chances, but we ain’t and he isn’t. It would be like Man City fans saying their keeper is s*** because he makes no saves!
We will be fine regards relegation, showed lots of character to stay in the game when outclassed by a top four team.

We have a top header of the ball and never put it near his head once. Meanwhile, we let Arsenal have far too much time on the ball.
Another loss coming up at the weekend and then it will be a cup final every week until May.

It's hard to put the ball on his head when he just stands there. He was even more stationary tonight than usual. When I saw Sako warming up I thought he was going to replace Benteke: should have done.

Agreed.......perhaps that goal at the end will give the team a lift for the city game.

Ref was awful....another...I’m on TV look at me!

The problem is that when we go up against teams with less quality than Arsenal we downgrade our performance accordingly.

Shame, fancied getting something out of the game today. We were totally bossed in midfield tonight, particularly in the 1st. half and never pressured them enough, hence they ran through us too easily. By trying to stuff the middle of the pitch we gave them too much space on the flanks and they took full advantage. Gave them way too much respect!

Dann and Tomkins partnership doesn't work. Don't feel as though they communicate with one another properly and it leads to issues like tonight where we could never clear our lines properly.

Sakho is a big miss, so is Ward.

Also getting fed up of RLC being a total passenger.

Why? If it wasn’t for that prat we would be watching championship football tonight. Tell me why he was so poor and why he warrants singling out?

No big calls, really, but every 50/50, every goal kick / corner, every little shove, even the throw ins, any doubt at all it went Arsenal's way. He booked one of their lot for a shirt grab in midfield to stop us breaking away but apart from that he gave us absolutely nothing. Oh, and he booked Wilf the moment he asked him a question - and he wasn't even on the f***ing field at the time. Oh, and he gave Wilshere everything he asked for, including several free kicks for blatant dives.

Yes....but have admit at times the Arsenal passing in the middle was a different class. There on touch play is so effective and difficult to read.

Ultimately not too much damage done. Goals were poor ones to concede and a shame not to snatch a point but at least we weren’t shafted. Considering the other results this was ok. Just hope we don’t get shafted by City now.

Sorry, was he actually playing?

He made so little effort. So the ball isn't coming onto his head from crosses. OK, so he should be coming back looking for the ball, tracking back when we lose it upfield, trying to get into positions where he can receive it in the air or on the ground, and being an extra man further downfield. Did actually start to play from about the 75th minute but until then frankly we might as well have had Campbell, at least he worked his arse off.
