Cavalieri hasn't played in 2018. So if Hennessey gets injured we will be reliant on the inexperienced Henry or Cavalieri if he is signed in a tense relegation battle. Went through the whole 'Window' without getting a keeper and as Hodgson said most team operate with 3 keepers and some have 4 they can call on. Edited by Willo (22 Feb 2018 9.33am)

Heaven forbid that Hennessey gets injured on Sunday, Henry replaces him and maks a mistake to hand Tottenham a winner - there will be a furore amongst our supporters.

Actually, Willo, if we did have three "proper" keepers the likelihood is that the third choice player would still not have played a proper match for many months, no matter who it were; so I can't see that it will make much difference except as far as the next couple of games are concerned. Regards 3rd choice keepers, they normally play for the development teams so they have match experience albeit not 1st team so they don't tend to be idle for a couple of months or so.Some of course are loaned out and get 1st team experience in this way.
