People of lower intelligence tend to have less well paid jobs. Therefore they need public services more than the wealthy. They need access to social housing, use public transport etc. In other words they see immigrants as competing for the same limited resources as them. Is it any wonder then that they are not happy with more poor people coming to this country. And it's not just white people I know a few black and Asian 2nd 3rd generation and they feel the same.

My sister in law thinks immigration is wonderful but then she lives in a small country village where you never see a non white. She doesn't have to compete for a minimum wage job.

I wonder how welcoming the elite would be if it impacted them. Let's import 600 Polish MP's on half their salary and tell our current crop they will have to go zero hours and fight it out with the Poles.
