Can someone who has been a member of the HF come forward and explain what is going on and whether there will be a resolution?

You don't realise what you have until it is gone and Monday highlighted this.

The players have all said how much they love the fans and we need to keep this atmosphere as it clearly lifts the team.

I hope sense prevails but I have my doubts..

Some people are like Slinkies … not really good for anything, but you can’t help smiling when you see one tumble down the stairs.

this post is going around in circles,

at the end of the day it was the HF decision to not be focal point,so the atmosphere was created and killed by them, not the club

if they fell there doing the right thing so be it,cant expect other fans to give up there position in the ground so a small section can move into a more prominent position,

I did notice that most of the holmesdale was standing on Monday so the sitting with a view is not a issue, why dont the HF pay extra so that is used as compensation to the fans they want tobe moved

They’re now doing everyone else a favour.

Apart from not seeing any oversized flags I didn't notice any difference at all.
And against Liverpool the support was great ,as usual.

I agree, it was a big game, under lights and the atmosphere was as good as usual as far as I’m concerned, all we could ever hear of the HF from the Whitehorse was the annoying drum anyway, and I think we’ll cope without the flags!!

Definitely below par on Monday which was quite saddening. Songs not carrying over to the other blocks, different songs being sung at the same time and at very different speeds. Not to mention homophobic and Tommy Robinson songs being sung. Apart from the first 10 minutes, we were poor.

Liverpool were loud and clear from block C. Something I've not heard for many years.

Yes the atmosphere was dreadful on Monday, but we need to ensure this doesn't happen again. We need to make an extra effort.

I'm tough. I'm ambitious. I know exactly what I want. If that makes me a bitch, I'm OK with that.

I wonder if there is a compromise with the Block B seats they originally occupied. It is clear that some are still available so it may be posssible to move new season ticket holders to give them block back

No no no no no.

They gave them up. Tough s***.

All good. Nothing bad.

Behave.

Palace stood out for the atmosphere and Adrenalin. It’s just Joe average boring mid table wallowing with the others and potentially nothing different.

I for one am rather dissapointed; many, many others are too. In fact from what I can see approximately 85% at least see it as a complete negative.

you either have a short memory or you're very young and/or haven't been supporting Palace long. When you've watched us dwindling in the Championship for years with any number of hopeless players and managers in that time, what we're seeing now is hardly mid-table wallowing, it's bloody marvellous.

I agree and I lots did, but it fizzled out after 5+10 minutes.

You can include the little groups of HF who’ve obeyed their leader and found how pointless that is this time. They’re not there as a group so I can’t see the harm in coming back as just, you know, Palace fans. Or is it their’s, their way or no way and don’t dare upset their leader?

Quite frankly I find it hard to accept any criticism from an Arsenal fan. No doubt sits on his hands and shouts abuse for 90 minutes with the occasional chant of ‘we’re by far the greatest team.....’ I find that pathetic and embarrassing.

Perhaps not you, but there are many Palace fans who support in silence and wallow in the glory of ‘best fans in the league’ when the reality is it’s the HF who deserve the credit.

You can see from this thread that 90% will miss them. As a gold member I’m less enthusiastic about going now as for me the enjoyment is atmosphere over what’s on the pitch.

This seems to suggest that you would be welcome with open arms at The Emirates. Is it Palace you support or the HF? I think 'member' without the 'gold' decribes you to a tee. No offence.

Don’t be so silly the away fans, TV pundits and our own fans have stated it was well below par. I agree too. It was poor. Very poor.

Definitely not the same without the HF although I did like hearing 'eagles' being sung once more, I don't recall hearing it since they formed (happy to be corrected). Monday night sounded like the old days with small sections singing different songs and waves of support when Palace were on the up.

My non-palace pals were asking where they were as it was quite evident the atmosphere weren't the same.. it's likely to be a lot more noticeable during a 3pm game against a Bournemouth or Cardiff.
