Yes Danny it did. But we aren't going to be leaving.

Why?

Because you were offered something that the Government is not willing to give you.

Which Government?

This tory one.

What you gonna do about it?

This's the bit I like. I don't know exactly but I suspect that it's curtains for the miserable, self-serving conservative and unionist party.

And there was MUCH rejoicing.

It looks like you may be right. A General Election will be called which Corbyn's lefties will win easily. The mandate will still be to take UK out of Europe and Diane Abbott will be made Brexit Secretary.

Seriously though it is those Labour strongholds that voted most heavily for Brexit and do they think that Corbyn's Labour will be any better at negotiating our exit

Pardon me, but if the government is in contempt of parliament, how can it be asking for parliamentary approval for brexit or anything else ??????

Grieve would be an excellent PM, such a grasp and intellect.

'Let me remind the House how we have come to this'.

We don't need reminding PM, you and your predecessor brought us here.

An excellent PM.....yeah for the Labour party....because that pr1ck is so pro EU that the Tory party would be in never ending war.

Oh and whatever happens....thank god for Brexit.

Really....do you really think Corbyn can win enough seats? I seriously doubt at this point that Corbyn can win enough of those blue rinse areas to actually win a majority.

Corbyn is no Tony Blair.....no crossover figure.

I would be genuinely surprised.....Surely the Tories would ditch May for the election and go in with a new figure which the blue rinse areas would give a chance too.

All those home owners know that Corbyn is coming for them.....I think the most Corbyn can hope for is a hung parliament.

May would have to go into coalition with the Scots to stay at No10, she's reached a dead end

Like that's going to happen.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

Alternatively if there's enough swing, a labour SNP coalition

And my reckoning would be if the SNP prop up Labour it will be on the promise that Brexit is reversed

I won't vote Tory or Labour, I'll have to go for UKIP, there is no other credible party to honour my leave vote.

If current activities carry on as many predict, perhaps we will get to see which of our heads that plane is really flying over.

That's because your logic is wrong.

What people actually voted for was a hard Brexit which is getting completely out of the EU. The remainers follow the logic that this would be a disaster without actually questioning that assumption. We would then be able to trade under WTO rules and in a position to negotiate trade deals freely across the word. Also not paying the EU £39 million for nothing. Yes it would be painful in the short term but less so than being stuck in the EU with no say in our own destiny.
