Piss poor all round. The limit of Parish’s ambition I am afraid. I would rather see one of the academy boys stepping up than paying good money to watch Sako again.

I'm happy if he is to take Schlupp's or Wickham's bench space. But with Roy, it might mean that Meyer will get even fewer chances. Hopefully, that won't be the case.

It's Parish-style short-termism a la Adebayor, Flamini, etc. If it's for 3-4 months, it's fine. If he's seen as our third striker for next season (behind 'legends' Wickham and Benteke) then it's bad, bad.

This guy would of stayed at the club had it not been for two reasons 1. signed new contract with lower wages Roy likes Sako so its not a surprise the same with if Cabaye comes back as well both as I pointed out would of stayed had they not been greedy. I expect 6 month deal only if does well extension for another year. Not a fan of this but I understand it
