Market forces old son. A bit like another thread where the general thrust was to stop buying the Sun newspaper, and my response was who actually walks into a newsagents of a morning & spends 25p on a paper? Certainly not the numbers that used to say even 10 years ago.
In much the same way as a Landline phone those numbers must of plummeted or the good old fashioned telephone box?
Most people don't need to schlepp down to their local High st nowadays to book a holiday when they can sit in the comfort of their own home & do it on their own computer.
Unfortunately Thomas Cook were obviously unaware of this & didn't adapt quick enough.

Spot on. I have been waiting for the "blame Brexit" brigade to start. TC has been going down the pan for years with other Travel Agents.

If wages where better, then they might get some better candidates (especially labour).

no you'd still get the same old corrupt useless MPs we have now, they'd just cost more!

What you say above is yet another lie.

It's NOT what you said. You said Soros funded it personally. See my post at 11.10 this morning which quotes your own words.

That wasn't the link you used either. The one you did use was from an earlier article which confirmed what I told you. That the funds to "Best for Britain" came from a Soros funded foundation. There is no evidence that "Best for Britain" help fund any of the Court cases, which have all been crowd funded. "Begging" is just Express hyperbole.

As I have suggested many times I really think it would be wise for you to stop digging your hole.

You really do need help !!!!

Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky.

Westminster voting intention
... if held after the deadline for Brexit has been extended beyond 31 Oct:

LAB: 25% (-3)
CON: 22% (-4)
LDEM: 21% (+1)
BREX: 20% (+3)
GRN: 5% (+1)

via @ComRes, 18 - 19 Sep
Chgs. w/ 06 Sep (same Q)

--

The above suggests to me that 31st Oct is do or die for Boris. If there's another extension it'll massively count against them in a GE, and if there isn't another extension, and we leave then the Brexit Party is effectively dead, a veritable dream for the party.

Of course there could also be a deal on or prior to that date too, which is probably still a much more likely outcome than people tend to believe even this late in the day.

There will not be enough lamp-posts at this rate.

I think we need to face up to the fact that the votes of 17.4 million people are going to be ripped up and discarded. This has been the ultimate expression of the Establishment and effectively cripples the executive.

How Boris reacts in the next 48 hours defines the next 25 years of our country's history.

It has nothing whatsoever to do with "the votes of 17.4 million people". It has only to do with the supremacy of Parliament over the executive. The only way for Johnson to react with him retaining any kind of credibility is to immediately resign.

This was a devastating judgement expressed in the clearest possible terms.

A great day for British democracy.

Hells bells never expected that.

The 'establishment' always wins is what I have been brought up with.

For Charles I nobody could be found to chop his head off so they got a guy in from France to do it.

Obviously we can't have Jonny Foreigner muscling in at the moment so I nominate Christan Benteke to do it.

Hang on though, he'd only miss.......
