This is getting boring. Maybe the remainers could explain what kind of remain they would like? Hard remain, soft remain etc. Are you all OK being part of the European super-state and what kind of future do you see with the current level of immigration into the EU? What puzzles me is why the ultra hard Brexiteers are so fixated in establishing an enemy called the "remainers". Those opposing a "no deal" Brexit come from many different categories. Sure there are some who have never accepted that the vote was valid, because of the way that leave conducted the campaign. Most though accept that now we have triggered Article 50 that we will leave. They just want it done properly.
For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally. |

Apropos accepting Article 50, this is certainly not the case as far as the 'Lib Dems' are concerned nor the SNP.Labour have repeatedly waffled on about "Respecting the referendum" but will have voted against ANY deal that Mrs May brought to Parliament and will continue to be obstructive as they simply cannot stomach voting for a Conservative agreed deal with the EU. I think I have spouted enough on this matter on HOL. It has been consuming my life outside this cherished site much to the chagrin of my dear wife who has had enough of my pontificating on this subject,hence I have concentrated on the football debates.I shall now bow out gracefully!

You are just going along with your narrative that these institutions are above bias. Also that parliament has impeccable motives. Frankly, just a repeat of the same ad nauseum. According to you it is all working out. Fair enough. I disagree and so do plenty of others.

It’s something which long pre-dates ‘Wissie’ getting involved on here.
