fwiw I am one that is very reluctant to invite upheaval but I don't see any reason for Roy to not be replaced asap.

The club should already have been considering and contacting alternatives as his contract is up in the Summer. So appointment of another manager should be done without delay.

We only have the future to think about, we aren't getting relegated this season so we can build for next year already. So let's start building, please.

If Roy stays we risk further reducing confidence and value of our players. Reducing the attractiveness of future players and current players who we want to stay. If he goes, it provides another manager the chance to evaluate the current squad and decide who to keep and who to ship. The chance to implement training and match plans in competitive matches which would be vital especially if we have another Covid hit preseason.

This isn't about his football not being to taste or about disliking him and wanting him out, it's surely now just simple to see that we have to prioritise the future and this can start right now.

So we’ve made the first sub. Taken off a forward and brought on a wide player. Moved the forward that was playing wide and out of position to his correct position so we’re now playing exactly the same way, tactically, but instead of two players out of position, we just have the one. (Although, arguably, Dann is out of position - he should be at home).

Not sure any other manager would play PVA ahead of Mitchell or keep their new striker on the bench when our front 2 are this bad but more than anything any other manager would have a plan B and would probably have changed things at halftime
