They came for a draw. They were time wasting in the first half ffs. We found no space and Zaha had 3 guys around him at all times. They were quite negative and defensive, and we couldn’t break them down.

Eze and Olise instead of Schlupp and Ayew and we win that today. Obviously a point at home to a newly promoted side is disappointing in principle but I thought we played positively and Andersen was immense. Him and Guehi should be a fantastic pairing together. Also really enjoyed watching Gallagher in midfield and think he'll be great for us this season. We 100% need a couple more signings in before the deadline but I'm very optimistic about the season ahead.
We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold... |
