I see BA have cancelled all thoughts of launching a 'cut-price' airline from LGW & will concentrate its services from LHR

They have now offered to re-employ them on far worse terms ( what a surprise). My neighbour did not take up the offer and is training to be a teacher. Personally I am not sure if Gatwick will recover, if they do it will take many years, although they are still trying to get permission to use the emergency runway as a 2nd one. No idea why, as nowhere near the number of flights as previously.

BA made a high percentage of their Gatwick staff redundant ( including my neighbour). They have now offered to re-employ them on far worse terms ( what a surprise). My neighbour did not take up the offer and is training to be a teacher.
