If there was any dispute as to what was said, I'm sure we would have seen at least some mention of this by the Palace or the accused herself. All the statements I've seen seem to accept that version of events.

In this instance, unacceptable and deeply regrettable comments were made." Seems pretty cut and dried to me.

Probably a couple of black kids murdered, or at least stabbed, yesterday, the day before, today - yet people care what some old one said to someone who was black. It's all quite perverse really. Dealing with actual issues and problems would be nice - but seems unlikely to happen anytime soon.

You can basically say this about any story involving the royals - it’s all ‘unimportant’ relative to what else is going on in the world, but it doesn’t stop people talking about it.
