VAR magnifies issues that have always been there in football e.g. offside. Now that the technology is being used FIFA should consider changing the rules I think most of us think it silly that someones toe or arm is offside by a few inches. Personally I'd be in favour of a challenge system. Instead of reviewing everything. It works well in other sports. The one thing I particularly hate is sending the ref over to view it on the monitor. If he's got it wrong call it, if its marginal/debatable, let the original decision stand.

Each manager should get 2/3 and applied same as Tennis - Correct challenge you keep it if not you lose it. Might just fuel further controversy when inevitably VAR still gets things wrong however might also mitigate moaning from teams/managers as it'd be on them. Might also help with cheating too.

True, but you'd hope they'd firstly start using them wisely in the first instance and secondly stop the antics of the likes of Klopp/Conte as they could either challenge or face up to the fact they can't as they'd already been wrong on a few occasions. Would therefore be their own fault if they could not challenge something else!

It's a nice suggestion, but you'd also have to weigh up the negative effects of it being introduced, eg. time wasting and tactical use. Much like players using it to their advantage in tennis – allowing time for recovery, or breaking an opponents concentration, stopping the momentum and so on. You're also adding to the amount of stoppages across the game. It's not a silver bullet.
