Vieira keeps mentioning "Performance" in each interview.
Suffice to say the performances and results are totally unacceptable.

You mentioned the word "Nice" - He was removed from his duties at 'Nice' after it all went 'South' in his second season !

Just to confirm, it was his third season that he was sacked, not his second.

That is far too quick for Parish to make such a decision, in actual fact Parish should go because he ( & DF) are both responsible for recruiting and succession planning and their joint efforts have been abysmal not least, by saying in the last T/F window "we only need one or two loan signings" when one of our biggest problems for sometime now has been lack of scoring goals! Championship is getting closer and closer with each game played!

That’s extremely harsh man , our recruitment has been brilliant that’s why we still in prem 10 years after going up with a squad of about a million pound combined worth , blame viera if you like , not Parish

Key players weren't at their best today which is a shame as Villa looked a bit flat. Olise in particular was really poor by his standards. Wilf made a couple of mistakes but easily our most dangerous player and such a shame he was offside as he took the goal really well. The point where he controlled the ball first time, was falling and yet still got a shot away was class. McGinn once again seems unbookable! Can't really complain about Doucoure getting sent off, but once he was Vieira didn't seem to know how to manage the game.

At kick-off I looked at our team and was really excited but Ayew, Olise and Mitchell in particular were really wasteful in good positions. The goal was a fluke and other than that I think Guaita only had one save to make, so once again it really is the attacking side of the game we're short on. We even look more solid in midfield. Thankfully most results went our way today.

You have some valid points but to say we look solid in midfield is a stretch. Eze and Olise are show ponies, can't defend, can't win the 50-50 ball etc. Good at some set pieces but that's it. Mitchell can be a liability at times but its all we've got. We bought Ferguson in 2020 but he's always injured (don't think he's made an appearance in the 1st team yet) !

Villa weren’t special.
We were worse
West Ham, Leeds , Bournemouth also lost…..we’ll be fine this season , not that we deserve to be

Remarkably we remain in 12th, perhaps the team are wearing anti-gravity boots.
One thing: I can't see Vieira taking this team further. Unfortunately he is saddled with a number of big time charlies and downright lazy cnutz, a terrible mixture on the face of it and one he has struggled with all season, trying in vain to find some balance. Factor in hid own bizarre tactical decisions and I think it is fair to say that we have looked poor most of the season.
Yet remarkably we remain in 12th. That part of the storyline is actually rather funny, and it's going to be a tight finish all the way to the end.

I think we have two DMs in Lakonga and Decoure who are pretty good players, my opinion. Ahamada seems a waste of space atm, and a bit out of his depth in the PL.?Zaha made a huge difference in getting us forward towards the pen. But the crossing from Mitchell and Wilf himself was abysmal. And there was no striker in the box to finish off any chances? We are half a good team, but that's it. There's a huge amount to do in the off-season, if Wilf moves, and Geuhi too. Difficult times

Followed Palace forever. Today's team sheet raised my spirits and I enjoyed the game all the time it was eleven vs eleven.
From the moment we were down to ten players it was obviously going to be tough ... and it was.

It was sadly predictable that many posts immediately called for PV's head. I don't agree as I believe that overall, the club are building something good.

We have limitations and it is obvious where they are. I don't think our management is a weakness. Finances are limited and you won't find a goal scorer easily.
I'm off for a good sulk now ... and a beer.
Up the Palace!

We move in the direction of our thoughts.
Just think a little.
