It’s a rubbish time to be a Palace fan and I’ve seen many of those times and a lot of them have been in recent seasons. I wonder what’s the use of being in the premiership if we don’t give it a go in the cup games. Might as well be in the lower divisions trying to finish high, have some cup giant killing and the odd playoff Wembley appearance. I’m fed up just watching boring football where we have to stifle entertaining football to get a point and the occasional 3 to keep us out the bottom 3 :-( It’s isn’t though. We’ve a decent first 11, unfortunately Roy would set us up defensively against Mansfield at home. Considering how much he bangs on about his CV, how many players had he ever actually improved.

Well that was all so predictable. The really simple concept of a cup competition is you play randomly drawn games and if you win them all you get a big day out, a shiny trophy and a crack at Europe. So we play Royball and aim to keep a clean sheet. We will never win a game unless we actually score and Roy sucks all front running play out of the side. I used to reckon we would survive as there were worse teams than us. Not so sure now. Parish would not give any other manager this much time so I can only assume Roy has pictures of him in a compromised position and is threatening to.go.public if he is sacked “Being spit woasted” maybe.

I'm absolutely staggered that after starting with 5 defenders, two defensive midfielders and a left winger who used to be a left back we didn't score. Disappointed that we conceded though, I vote on Saturday we sacrifice Eze or the striker and play Tomkins to shore it up at the back a bit.
We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold... |

The last creative decision Roy made was for Harry Kane to take corners………. I very much doubt our Roy could inspire a rabbit to f***!

Last I checked you can't play 2 keepers, Dacoure and Olise are injured. Not such a solid core really.

Ironic, since Roy knows exactly what he's doing. The FA Cup is a luxury we can't afford this season, and he is giving some of our limited squad a little breather in readiness for a very hard game on Saturday. Why rest them for Saturday ?
