Palace v Ipswich
Ipswich have broken a few habits over the last few weeks - they lost their first home game in 19 to Watford at the weekend and a few weeks ago they won on the road for the first time this season.
Magilton teams play football how all supporters would like it to be played - it's both pretty and effective. The rough and tumble of Watford left Ipswich with little time and little quality to play the ball. However, Jim sees no reason to fix anything in his team.
They will come to Palace full of energy, quality and the potential to punish any mistakes. Should they lose though, expect a few digs at how he would hate his team to play the Neil Warnock way.
Left-back Clint Hill is set to return to the first XI after overcoming his ankle injury. Eagles boss Warnock said: "He could have played [against Charlton] but he's had a sore ankle since the Leicester game.
"He got away with it against Southampton but I felt if he got another whack on it against Charlton then it might have put him out for three or four weeks.
"I think he has a fair chance of playing against Ipswich and a good chance of playing against Bristol City. I didn't feel it was worth risking him, even though it was the local derby."
Danny Butterfield will replace John Halls at right-back as Halls has returned to host club Reading. MARK KENNEDY (Achilles) and Tony Craig (shoulder) are both still out.
Ipswich full-back Luis Castro Sito should return to the side after completing his ban and could replace Dan Harding. Forward Alan Lee is in contention for a start while recent signing Velice Sumulikoski is another pushing for a place.
Roy Hodgson
"It's taken a while but I always thought Danny would commit himself because he's enjoying it," said Warnock. "I'm looking to make him a better player than he is now.
"He is a good player but I think he can be a lot better. I've spoken to him in detail and I think he can give us a lot more overall to the team and I think he will.
"He's quite good going forward but when he sets his mind right he's as good a defender as you'll get, so he's got to get his mindset of the responsibility of being a full back because I want us to attack people as well.
"We've been a little bit negative lately but I don't think we've had a settled team.
"The best spell we had was when Danny was at right back and that's what we're going back to tomorrow."
Jim Magilton
"I have my own way of playing the game. To play a brand of football that I like and that I will always stand up for and that will never change.
"It's backed by the coaching staff and the players here but on Saturday we didn't perform in the manner we have done at home this season.
"It's a learning curve for us all but I do want to see us be quicker on the ball and have more quality with it.
"That's the aim and if we can do that, it doesn't matter how physical a team is with you. You don't have to match brawn with brawn, you have to be cleverer than the opposition.
"Against Watford we did not have enough belief in our play, we didn't get enough players on the ball and fair play to Watford for that but we will dust ourselves down and relish the opportunity of putting it right against Crystal Palace."
