Team news

Papa Souare and Wayne Hennessey are both fit and included in the squad for Saturday's tie. Mamadou Sakho is out after having an operation and Bakary Sako is unlikely to feature after recovering from a calf problem.

Watford have a fully fit squad, which will give Javi Gracia a headache when it comes to selection.

Quotes

Roy Hodgson

"This run is reasonably lengthy. The one at Fulham was too. When you’re Fulham or Crystal Palace, to get to the quarter-finals is not too bad. To be fair, the cup is normally won by the Arsenals and the Chelseas,” he said.

"They’ve got a list of cup runs as long as your arm. The Watfords and the Crystal Palaces don’t have that big trophy cabinet. You’ve got to put those things in perspective.

"I’m pleased that we’ve managed to do so well to get this far, I’m pleased to have the opportunity to put out a team at the weekend that could go forward and win the game and reach a semi-final. That would be fantastic."

James McArthur

"I have been lucky enough to be in three semi-finals, so it would be amazing to have the opportunity to get back to Wembley again, go one further this time with Palace and try and win", he told the South London Press.

"But we know Watford will be thinking the exact same thing. We know it is a tough game for us. They’ve got results against us this year, so we need to try and put that right by winning and getting to the semi-finals.

"A final defeat is obviously a low moment in your career. It is such a low point and hard to pick yourself up at the time. But I don’t think it affects any other game that you play in. I don’t think now: ‘I need to do this, or we need to do that.’ We will have a game plan that the manager will put out that we need to stick to get through."

Javi Gracia

[When asked about Troy Deeney's comments about targeting Wilfried Zaha in a previous game]: "I don't use that tactic, I don't use that tactic. I don't use it,"

"When we prepare (for) the games, we always are thinking about playing well and trying to beat the other team.

"But not thinking only about one player because I think it's a collective and we have to be ready to compete this way and not only thinking about Zaha or other players."
