No Sturgeon is proposing that.
I want Scottish MP's out of Westminster.

The SNP want independence for political gain only. It would be bonkers for them to leave Britain, especially with the low oil prices.
However,if Scotland feel like they have more in common with Europe than with England then let them leave and see how that works for them.

The Scots would have to adopt the Euro. That would be suicide.

Sturgeon is pissing in the wind.

Superb. Proud to be British, yet this is the start of a reformed Europe. Trade, be friends, work together. But there is no need for us to become a federal super state.

I don't really get the objection to this super-state stuff. Works well enough in the US, Trump aside, for example.

Hopefully, the entire EU will collapse. Great Britain ran the whole world for over 200 years, we'll be fine.

You do know the world has moved on and the empire whilst benevolent compared to most was not exactly run ethically?

It was someone's opinion not fact. I and record numbers of Labour members do not.

The fact that it is mainly those that seemed to have voted leave says a lot and is just opportunitism.

No one has actually said why they don't think he can be succesful other than regurgitating 'opinion' from the media , not based on polls or such like (Not that polls seem any use when it comes to predicting results)

With a 60 -40 split to remain in London; can we have an independence referendum?

Very sad.

The I believe in democracy as long as you agree with me attitude.

So many people in Britain, particularly among the young, are so arrogant and full of self importance that they cannot accept that the majority reject their attitude.

I very seldom post on these boards, and when I do I prefer to discuss Palace.

However anytime I read anything overtly political on the Hol you seem to pop up. And everything you do post is incredibly aggressive, derogatory and rude. Indeed you go out of your way to antagonise and bully other people for having views that conflict with your own.

It seems as though the way we discuss our politics in the UK is becoming more and more like how you choose to express yourself.

I can't help but think its incredibly sad.

Anything to say about Cameron having lost his job as a result of EU Vote outcome? Plenty of Conservative Pro-EU Ministers may also fall upon their swords as well....

And Sturgeon can f*** off as well.

Had Scotland kept us in the EU we would have had to swallow it.
In the reverse we will now here calls from Krankie to have another Scottish referendum or Scotland staying in the EU . Sorry love it works both ways.

The sooner Westminster rids itself of Scottish MP's the better.

I think the outcome has handed them a very good argument, same as with Sinn Fein as it feeds into their arguments around independence. On the back of their recent referendum, a major change like this, that is not reflected in Scotland was always going to be the basis of the SNP pursuing their agenda. More concerning maybe is that of Sinn Fein promoting a referendum on a united Ireland.

Wales and England were very much leave, but Scotland clearly want to remain, which no matter how we couch it, in a democracy is grounds for SNP to revisit a referendum on UK membership when such a dramatic difference can be clearly made. For the SNP, they would relish the idea of the rest of the UK not going down this route of another referendum as it plays directly into their hands politically.

Before that happens, the EU would have to accept Scotland as a member.

What are the chances that, having just lost the 3rd largest net contributor they would want to take on another 'taking' country?
