Your the first person to moan about us not having access to EU health services if we leave so you should be the first to condom outside EU abuse of the NHS.

Brexit came about because of lack of will to do anything about imigration,so don't be surprised when people have enough of the NHS being abused with their tax and ask for change

Fair comment:

I don't want to privatise the NHS although in quite a few Europeans countries that are socialist it is and people seem fine with that.

There is an argument for changing how we fund it. It does seem unfair that many people who do not pay taxes have access to the NHS, currently that includes me.

I don't think it is unreasonable that everyone pays a minium amount this would include taxes that people currently pay. In other words for most people no change but for some like myself we we have to pay an annual set fee.

As our population grows older the number of people not paying towards the NHS is only going to increase, putting a burden on the working taxpayer. It wont be popular but sooner or later the politicians will recognise that it is a necessity.

Another thing you want to lose to add to add to the list! Free healthcare? Nah, Chuck that in the bin. It's a hell of a lot of stuff you've traded in for brexit, all for a (French made) blue passport.

Agreed

Free? Opticians, dentists & prescriptions all cost. The NHS manages to be “free” at a cost of £120bn a year.

Aren't you in Scotland? Thought you got free prescriptions? Dentists and opticians are subsidised if your in a particular income bracket

Yes, it costs, you pay tax and NI and you get that back. But you'd trade all that in because some people abuse it (0.3% of the budget when i checked). Don't we all lose then?

Well they are still counting the votes and it's no surprise that the Tories are getting a kicking.

The big surprise is how badly Labour have done so far down 81 seats even if they can turn that around with the remaining votes it's still a poor showing.

UKIP has also taken a kicking and neither Change UK or The Brexit Party have campaigned.

No surprise to me.
It was predictable that a Labour Party with Corbyn, Abbott and the rest of the Muppet show will alienate traditional voters. The Labour party is now seen as the party of minority interests. It still has a hard core of white support from communists, teenagers and people who stiil hate Thatcher but it is sinking fast.
