As for Wisbech, I don't know how you get drawn in mate, the bloke thinks grooming is excusable. Not worth your time trying to debate someone with such bizarre world views.
Maple loves it, have to admit he's grown on me.

That is an unwarranted slur! At no time have I ever suggested that grooming is "excusable". Indeed if you bothered to actually read and understand what I have said I condemn it, along with all criminality, in the most explicit terms

The only defence I have made is of those whose job it has been to investigate these criminals and bring them to face justice, and I have criticised "Robinson's" involvement. These are both a totally different things.

So please don't make such an incorrect and insulting suggestion again. I want anyone involved in such despicable activity as the grooming of vulnerable children for sexual exploitation to face the full force of our justice system. Irrespective of what community they belong to.

You stand corrected.

Saying that there are good reasons to allow the rapes of minors to continue to X number of years because....essentially you don't want to rouse people....That is essentially quite disgusting.

There are no good reasons for that.

If you know minors are being raped.....You stop it, regardless of 'community relations'. People need to be sacked for this and the establishment is protecting itself and punishing critics.

The fact that you can find your way clear to even outlay that position without criticism shows just how tribal this is now.

Well OK, show me the quote where Wisbech said it's OK to allow rape to continue for community relations and I shall review the situation.

So you agree that Oxford, Rotherham, Telford, Newcastle, Leeds etc shows that peado gangs are an Islamic epidemic and that Islam actually teaches that it is ok to do these things to non believers?

Furthermore that although child molesters can be any colour or creed that grooming gangs is culturally apparent in Islam and could be accurately described as rampant?

I do stand corrected, fair play to you.

Not sure it's worth trawling through hundreds of pages of mostly child molester-excusing nonsense to be fair, but I back this up. He did come out with several disturbing opinions such as this.

I'll do a couple of his early posts but it's a long job in this thread:

10 Feb 19 11.52am

To my comment that:

'Perhaps you should read 'Easy Meat' by Peter McLoughlin.'

He replies:

'I have followed this story for at least 20 years, well before it hit the headlines, as I have had some tangential personal connections. I can assure you that both the Police and social services were very well aware of the issue for all that time, but preferred to handle things quietly and without it becoming a media circus which just made things worse.
That books have been written detailing some of the offences is obvious. Whether they are helpful is a matter of opinion.'

What I want to know is.....these abuse cases didn't enter the wider public sphere until 2012, yet we have him professing knowledge of this via connections and having , 'followed this story for at least 20 years'.

Pretty iffy stuff.....He says he knew about these abuse cases long before the public yet he makes excuses for their knowledge not being public knowledge.

Twenty years....that's around the turn of the century.

In a response to dannyboy1978 comment:

'Or is it an inconvenient truth for the left?'

He replies:

'How you respond to issues has nothing to do with what is true, or untrue. It is only to do with what is the most effective strategy and that ought to have nothing to do with politics.'

This is a tacid admission that he carex less for what is truth than for what suit his view........Hence you are prepared to hide the truth if you think it gets you what you want.....this is what the Police and authorities effectively did.

I believe this backs up what many of us have said about him many times......that he is disingenuous and has made many iffy statements on here.

Last one I'd do from the early thread.....I could have gone on but no one is being paid to research.

Another comment he makes making excuses:

09 Feb 19 12.48pm:
Thousands of girls?

Alleged assertion! Who knows what the police and social services knew and what strategy was being employed to deal with it. That others think they know better doesn't mean they do.

Yet, he states in his earlier comment that he knew that they knew long before this got revealed ....and indeed, the inquiries afterwards have revealed and criticised this.

You can choose to interpret this as you see fit

I don't want to impute meaning but it seems to me that stopping the epidemic required the law to take action. That means you need proof suitable for a Court of Law. Sometimes it's hard to get the proof you need and you have to exercise wisdom to gather it, which appears to create an unacceptable delay in every case I have seen. But that is how it is.

I assume your alternative is a good wholesome lynching. Perhaps something to be said for that but it's hard to imagine building a society around it.

I think there is another issue about which I have seen no comment. Where are the safe houses, where are the social services, where is the support to stop people becoming vulnerable and to help those absorbed into this life. That to me is the greatest sin of the State. And bizarrely an area where funding has been reduced year on year.

And by the way, I thought that you were done with Wisbech and not going to get involved with his posts any more!

You will certainly find his attitudes in line with those of people in their early 20s, this I know. And it is those who will be choosing your care home or potentially the means of your death.

Dear oh dear.....So suddenly all these issues no longer became a problem after the Times exposed the story.

This is disappointing from you.

?

I am done with him.

You directly posted me, 'Well OK, show me the quote where Wisbech said it's OK to allow rape to continue for community relations and I shall review the situation.'

I'm replying and providing the proof you directly asked for.

Yet we find you twisting and turning looking for outs and ignoring what you don't wish to address.....it's all rather sullied for me.

Like Chris said....no point....waste of time. I'll talk to you about subjects you're sensible on.

Just as you and danh and wissy interpret TR as hating muslims when he criticises the religeon not the people.
Strange how the left only drive down one way streets.
