In other news, the BoE has revised their forecast of no deal GDP loss to -5.5% from -7.5%. About the same that was lost between 2007-2009. Sounds great to me. Get it done.

As some people clearly have issues understanding, while the remain vote was aligned, the leave vote was split. 'Leave no matter what' ie. 'No deal' being just one of the many different expectations, and more importantly conditions of deciding to vote leave. Just because you voted for 'No deal', does not mean that everyone else who voted leave also wants no deal. Not that hard to grasp, really.

I genuinely feel sorry for you that you got your hopes up about the 2016 vote, but it was a piece of fools gold. The 2016 vote is not deliverable. There are enormous and wide ranging differences on HOW we leave the EU. There MUST be a mandate from the public about HOW to leave the EU. It might have helped that in 2016 there was a remote idea in anyone's head about what brexit really meant, but they simply didnt.

Leaving the EU does not stop Islamic immigration. What happens in the coming years....Sure, I would support a policy like that....but I don't expect it to happen. I don't know why you seem to think I'm disappointed.....I'm quite enjoying it all. Edited by Stirlingsays (04 Sep 2019 5.22pm)

If I tell you my Brexit vote wasn't about Muslims and that I'm enjoying myself....then that's how it is.
