I feel that the only sensible way to show displeasure with the racist and divisive politics being embraced by football, and particularly Sky Sports, is to cancel our subscriptions.
If we wish to go further then we need to boycott football altogether.

My Sky contract is up for renewal next month and I'm seriously considering my options. The trouble is that this insanity is everywhere. With the BBC, anyone with a licence should exercise their right to complain directly. Legal and peaceful protest is an option for anybody.
My wife had a survey sent to her today about how she thinks her company could better address diversity issues. Some of the options were gobsmacking.

This is not just about football.

As well as the trouble and the statues, tgis is what really irritates a lot of people.

In the dim and distant past, I had the misfortune of encountering some of these "Champagne socialists" who in all honesty were brass-plated hypocrites down to their boots and I certainly did not hold back in labelling them as such resulting in heated contretemps.

They were posturing pipsqueaks, haloed by self-righteousness and I was considered a bluebottle on their creamy plum pie.

I am enquiring as to the actions taken against those defacing the Churchill memorial, to the person on the Cenotaph attempting to burn our flag and to the reprobates who hauled down the statue of Colston in an act of vandalism.
