Apparently missed out on the Good Life and I can see him playing the neighbour Jerry which Paul Eddington did so well. RIP you had a good career.

That beardy (Canadian?) bloke who did Finger Bobs complained that he was wasted as a trained Shakespearean actor.

God forbid anyone should ever attempt to do a remake - Leo McKern made that role his and it would be unimaginable anyone attempting to fill his shoes. Although past experience tells us that this wouldn't necessarily stop some production company from trying to do so.
