Could be a tad demoralising for the player and a bit counter-productive for his development.

Banks scores with a free kick after just 4 minutes for Bradford. He's pretty good at those - just needs to keep improving his open play game.

Hannam scores Bromley's second against Oldham in the National League (Strange seeing Oldham down there).

Tayo, Rak-Saki etc. you're too old.... The thing is, if you look at the previous record holders for youngest players, it's a sad mix of successes. Matthew Briggs springs to mind, and Liverpool had Ben Woodburn, who was their 3rd youngest ever player at the time. There are very few stories like Aaron Lennon, Ryan Giggs and James Milner who kick in early and hang in there into their thirties. It's a brutally competitive industry with a constant conveyor belt of new recruits by the hundred.

players a develop and different paces - Banks is quite slight so may benefit form a bit more strength. I remember a certain Gareth Southgate didn't play for Palace until he was 21, became a regular at 22 and was captain by 23.

I have been chatting to Charlton mates and looking at the fans forum. They like him but say he is raw and the Championship will be a stretch for him at the moment, still he has the rest of the season to improve.
