Look - I admit I was one of those Roy "be careful what you wish" for supporters..!!

But after today enough is enough - IMO all good things come to an end and I now think we have reached that point.

After the Man U game, I must admit I thought - yeah OK things are progressing..!!

But then after Chelsea where we didn't even give it a go and then again today which was arguably even worse..!!

As I said enough is enough and Roy's "Dire Ball" tactics just ain't good enough and/or acceptable - time to go..!!

We have the talent in the squad but Roy's tactics just don't allow them to express their talent.

We were screaming out today for someone to link attack and defence, but Eze was left on the bench.

The one time we did do Jario put Batsman through and he buried it - but just offside. But that was only once in the whole game.

Just not good enough and that ain't the players it's management and tactics.

I saw SP sitting in the stands, he must have been thinking "what the hell" - I know I would was..!!

Time has come - thanks Roy but it's time to bring in someone that can move us on take us away from "Dire Ball" and allow the squad to show/fulfil it's undoubted talent..!!

One other point showed today that time to give Mitchell a rest and that Ward's time is also run - bring on both PVA and Clyne..!!

At least we didn't lose, but in fairness if I were a Brighton fan I'd be spitting feathers..!!

why do you always claim to know what another poster is actually meaning. brighton have spent 109 million and couldn't beat a team playing as badly as we did today. brighton are not a very good team considering the cash they have spent.

i am not beating myself up as i've seen worse displays watching palace over the years. people need to chill out a bit.

I agree it was a poor performance but it was still nearly 3 points. Like it or not Roy does get results, even if we end up being a counter-attacking side with low possession. He will keep us in the Premier League and for me that's what matters. What needs to happen for us to progress is new ownership with real money, so we can invest in the club on all fronts. That's the priority for me and then we can seriously aspire to better things. Until then I think Roy remains a good choice.

Everyone is blaming Roy's tactics but the players must also except their share of responsibility. Sky
reported yesterday that we are 20th in the league for number of passes and passing accuracy. On that basis is it any wonder that we struggle? Surely Roy doesn't train them to misspass!

It is a mad statistic that in (I think) the last 24 games in which we've taken the lead we haven't lost, winning 19 of them. Based on that and a solid points total for 5 games, in which being honest 7 points is probably more than many of us might have expected given the teams we were playing, you should read that paragraph and think 'Wow, what a good job Roy is doing'. But for me it is covering up a worrying trend.

I said throughout last season that if the points dry up people will quickly turn on Roy due to his negative approach, but now I think most of us are getting to the point where even points aren't enough. In the past people would've said that had we won people wouldn't be complaining, but I think even if we had won many of us still would be complaining this time.

We are living through bleak times and many of us have a multitude of worries. The Palace games should be the one highlight of the week but they are actually making me feel worse these days. I know there are bigger things in the world - my wife has been told her cancer has spread and will have to start more chemo next week - but Roy has to understand right now we need something to believe in beyond just grinding out points like a homeless guy w@nking off a monkey to pay for a sandwich. The hard part is, sacking Roy would be like sticking your grandad in a nursing home (in fact that analogy is probably quite literal in this case).

I'm going to hope Steve has a word in Roy's ear to let him know that fans have been calling Dignitas to ask if they take football teams. Who knows, maybe we'll turn Fulham over and Zaha will smile when he scores. Or maybe I'll go back to paying a homeless man to w@nk off a monkey.
