The short answer is because they have been brainwashed by decades of propaganda which tells them to reject all criticism of other culture. They tolerate intolerant and oppressive cultures because they think it makes them somehow morally superior. The obvious irony is that they are effectively condoning immoral acts by doing so.

It isn't the case that if you disagree with one person, you automatically agree with every opinion of every other person who also disagrees. The UK and Russia both disagreed with Hitler. They didn't agree on much else.

Underage sex is always too young, and sex during early puberty especially so. "Calling out" underage, illegal sex in any kind of cultural setting is everyone's duty. It cannot be tolerated in our society. When Yaxley-Lennon does it, though, his history immediately raises questions on his motives.
