Deeney claims his five month old son has breathing difficulties. If he doesn’t make arrangements for 9 games he might have put watford into the championship. Here’s hoping. These are multi millionaires, not people on benefits in a tower block with no help available. His young son is a red herring as he can self isolate to protect his family just like so many nurses and other key workers have had to do

Otherwise, he should shut the feck up and get on with his job. He can't be in a more privileged and secure environment with testing twice a week. He may well have personal health issues but it can't be anything more than a lobotomy in the close season would put right?

The best I’ve heard from someone opposed to lockdown for fit and younger people. Not sure how anyone could disagree with this guy and numerical evidence. 30 mins in and you hear why test and trace is flawed, or will be in Britain, and especially London. 55 mins in and the proportion of deaths of under 45’s and under 60’s vs other unexpected deaths like being struck by lightning or drowning. Puts into perspective. The level of fear, not understanding he risk or even knowing the numbers involved.

I wonder if Deeney had been selected for the England squad he would have been happy to spend 8-9 weeks away ?
