Out of interest do police collate data regarding the ethnicity and religion of rapists or is this considered inherently racist? I think it might prove useful to dismiss this argument once and for all. I imagine it would show that there are more non-Muslim rapists than Muslim in the UK and hopefully in proportion to the population as a whole. There clearly is a problem with grooming gangs that needs to be addressed but people using these heinous acts and multiple high profile cases to promote division and suggest this is the moral norm for Muslims are Neanderthals. Likewise people who scream racism too easily and afford protection to criminals on the grounds of race sensitivity are doing society no favours. My uncle is a catholic priest, there was a problem with the Catholic Church, but he’s not a paedophile. His reputation is unfairly tainted by the behaviour of a minority. The attitude towards Muslims in this country can’t afford to be tainted by the behaviour of the minority but the offending minority must be identified and punished without shouts of racism.

I can only assume he popped up as a suggestion in the left-wing Twitter bubble reminding you of his brief tenure as Labour leader before being replaced by the second coming of Christ. I suppose it adds some balance to follow a slightly Jewish bloke. I'll worry you've taken a dramatic lurch to the right if you start quoting his predecessor though.
