Todays extra download is an "Official Bootleg" (whatever that is) and a boot by Mama's Boys that was recorded and released in 1981. This is in superb quality and the audio is from the studio master tapes. I've posted a few shows by Mama's Boys in the past but no officially released albums - so I guess this is the first, even though it's a bootleg ?!?... It's a great album though and it really rocks - so if you like Mama's Boys - this is thoroughly recommended.. Todays first download is a recent set by Steve Winwood that was recorded at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival in Telluride, Colorado on the 20th June 2014. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from a web audio stream rip that sounds top notch. I've posted stacks and stacks of bootlegs and albums by Steve Winwood over the years - both as a solo performer as well as with his various groups - and on this set we have tracks from SW as a solo performer as well as tracks from Blind Faith, Traffic and Spencer Davis Group. If you like Steve Winwood - then grab this show - this is thoroughly recommended... Todays second download is a set by Jim Croce that was recorded at the Lido Club, Amsterdam, Holland on the 29th July 1973. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show. There is an extra few tracks added to the file which are from a later show on ABC TV in September 1973. This is a great set and one of only 3 Jim Croce bootlegs that I've posted. Good quality boots by Jim Croce are very rare - so if you like Jim Croce then grab this one - this is thoroughly recommended... Todays extra download is a bootleg of demos by Marc Bolan for the T.Rex album "The Slider". These demos are in superb quality and the audio has been taken from Marcs home studio master tapes and they sound top notch. This is a wicked bootleg that shows how the songs are slowly put together and worked on. A couple of these tracks went on to become very big commercially by reaching #1 in the UK charts - Metal Guru and Telegram Sam which both made #1 in 1972. If you like Marc Bolan then grab this demos.... this is thoroughly recommended.. Todays first download is a set by the Steve Miller Band that was recorded at the Rock Werchter Festival in Belgium on the 4th July 1982. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've not posted that many shows or albums by Steve Miller according to my files... and none recently. I saw this one and thought I'd already posted it, but I couldn't see it anywhere - so I grabbed it. A good setlist with the hits "The Joker" "Fly Like An Eagle" and "Abracadabra" all being played. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've posted loads of albums and bootlegs by REM over the years - and this is another top show for the collection. If you like early REM then this is a must have - thoroughly recommended.. obviously not jumping on staffies toes, but just to let anyone know (i know there are a few Yes fans on here) after downloading this, thanks again staffie, had a look on the Yes website and they have reissued The Yes Album, in 5.1 surround sound, just received , one of my favourite albums sounding even better, again just to let anyone know who may be interested, sorry staffie, back to you :-)

Todays first download is a recent set by Elton John that was recorded at this years Bonnaroo Music And Arts Festival in Indio, California on the 15th June 2014. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. A top setlist on this one with the classics "Bennie And The Jets" "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" "Your Song" and ending with "Crocodile Rock". I've posted a lot of albums and bootlegs by Elton over the years and this is another top soundboard show. If you like EJ then this is thoroughly recommended. Todays second download is a set by Crosby, Stills & Nash that was recorded a the Meadows Music Theatre, Hartford, CT on the 29th June 1996. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboad and it sounds top notch. I've posted a few shows by CSN over the years and this is another top sounding boot for the collection. Some classic tracks are played on this one including "Marrakesh Express" "Almost Cut My Hair" and "Love The One You're With" all being performed. If you like CSN then grab this one - this is thoroughly recommended... Todays extra download is a set by Jo Jo Gunne that was recorded at the Ultrasonic Studios, Long Island, New York in 1973 - the exact date isn't listed. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show is taken from an FM broadcast and it sounds top notch. The band was formed by Jay Ferguson and Mark Andes after they left their band Spirit - but Mark left after only one album. Between 1972 and 1974 they released 4 albums but only the first one had any commercial success. According to my files this is the first album or bootleg that I've posted by Jo Jo Gunne - but I've posted a few albums by Spirit. If you like Jo Jo Gunne or Spirit then give this one a listen....
