Todays extra download is a set by country music legend Willie Nelson that was recorded at The Troubadour, West Hollywood, CA on the 6th November 1975. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from an FM broadcast on KWST-FM. According to my files this is the first bootleg by Willie Nelson I've posted but not the first album as I've posted a couple of studio albums. This was a request I had so I thought I'd use it as a download... one for any country fans.. Todays first download is a set by Canadian blues/rock legend Jeff Healey that was recorded at the Pinkpop Festival, Holland on the 15th May 1989. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show and it sounds top notch. This is great stuff and some absolute wicked guitar work. Jeff was blind since very young and played the guitar on his lap - like a steel guitar, but wow, can he play or what... I've posted a few shows by Jeff in the past - this is another top show and is thoroughly recommended... Todays second download is a set by the Red Hot Chili Peppers that was recorded in Seattle, Washington - the exact date and venue aren't listed. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've posted a few shows by RHCP over the years but this is the earliest show according to my files. This is great stuff and if you like early Chili Peppers then grab this one... Todays extra download is a set by Carter USM that was recorded at the BBC Maida Vale Studios, London on the 7th November 2014. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show and it sounds top notch. This is the last ever show to be performed by Carter USM and BBC Host Steve Lamacq said "Carter USM were one of the first bands I championed while working at the NME, from the backrooms of London's pubs to the top of the summer festival bills, so I'm genuinely pleased that we can see them one last time at Maida Vale. Both musically and lyrically, they've always been a band who have come up with terrific snapshots of the times. So it's sad they're properly calling it a day, but we wanted a proper tribute for them and for all the listeners who've followed them down the years" If you like Carter USM then grab this show... there won't be any more!... Todays first download is a set by Snow Patrol that was recorded at the Royal Albert Hall on the 25th November 2009. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from a dvd audio rip and it sounds top notch. I've posted a few albums and boots by Snow Patrol over the years - but nothing for a long while. If you like Snow Patrol - then grab this show... this is thoroughly recommended.. Todays second download is a set by legendary jazz vocalist Al Jarreau. This was recorded at the Montreux Jazz Festival, Montreux, Switzerland on the 15th July 1986 and it sounds top notch with the audio being taken from the soundboard. According to my files this is the first bootleg by Al Jarreau that I've posted - but not the first album - I've previously posted a couple of studio released albums. Al has been around for 50+ years and is still going.. This is great stuff and if you like Al Jarreau - this is thoroughly recommended...
