Todays extra download is a set by The War On Drugs that was recorded in Paris France on the 1st November 2014. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from an FM broadcast of the set and it sounds top notch. According to my files this is the first bootleg by this band that I've posted - but not the first album as I've previously posted one of the bands studio released albums. This is a top sounding show but it does have a bit of dj chatter between some tracks - but it doesn't spoil the music. If you like The War On Drugs - then grab this show... Todays first download is a set by Nazareth that was recorded in St Paul, Minnesota on the 11th June 1976. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. The band perform their album "Hair Of The Dog". This is absolutely the mutts... a really top show. I checked then double checked my files to see if I had this - I can't see it... I'm absolutely gobsmacked!. If you like Nazareth - grab this show..... this is a MUST HAVE... Todays second download is a set by New Order that was recorded at the Reading Festival on the 30th August 1998. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've posted a few shows by New Order over the years, but nothing for a while now. This is a top set which includes 3 tracks by Joy Division - "Isolation" "Atmosphere" and "Heart And Soul". Unfortunately, this isn't the whole set, it's missing 5 tracks, but if you like New Order then grab this one - this is thoroughly recommended.. Todays extra download is a set by St Vincent that was recorded at the KCRW-FM Studios, Santa Monica, CA on the 10th February 2010. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show and it sounds top notch. I've posted four bootlegs by St Vincent this year already - all from shows they performed this year, so it was nice to see this early show by them. There is a short interview in the files but this can be easily deleted if not wanted as its a seperate track. If you've downloaded any of the shows I've posted from the festivals this year - then grab this earlier show to hear them 4 years ago... this is thoroughly recommended... Todays first download is a set by Roy Orbison that was recorded in Melbourne, Australia on the 3rd October 1972. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from a dvd audio rip and it sounds fantastic. Bootlegs by the Big O in good quality are rare. Very, Rare - I only have a couple myself. This is a great sounding show and features some classic Roy Orbison tracks - kicking off with "Only The Lonely" also performing "In Dreams" "Blue Bayou" "It's Over" and the legendary "Pretty Woman". There is an interview at the end of the boot which is from a different show in Sydney, Australia 1971 - this can be deleted if not wanted. If you like Roy Orbison - then this is a must have. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've posted a few shows by LF over the years - they have performed thousands of shows and loads of them are available as bootlegs. This is a great show which features Miles Tackett - son of LF guitarist Fred Tackett. If you like Little Feat - then grab this one... this is the mutts and is thoroughly recommended... This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show and it sounds top notch. Guitarist Randy California plays his usual mix of rock and Hendrix and he does wicked set. I've not posted many shows by Spirit over the years... and nothing at all recently.
