Utter nonsense. You deflect from a legitimate question about the logic of something you yourself posted by inferring a suggestion I was fishing for a (as you term it) "racial element" in your party choice. That says more about your internal processing than it does about the question posed.

Your identification of the BNP as a party of the right is all based upon their immigration policy. It's a weak summary as it's well known that they identify working class areas and have other policies that address that. Even their immigration policy bears little resemblance to any other right wing party in the UK as it's baaed upon race and not numbers or a points based system.

There is no justification in the question. I've made it plainly clear several times that I'm not interested in race.

Considering the problems we had in another thread it is disappointing that you continue to steer in this direction.

Quote legaleagle at 07 Mar 2015 4.15pm

Unlike you,I take an interest in the breadth of a party's policies when considering which to vote for,if any.The interesting and revealing bits about a party can be in the policy small print, and also in the actions of its politicians (often their unguarded moments and policy flips reveal much about a party)and anything disturbing to me about elements of its membership, taking all these into account to some degree. As opposed to, in your stated case, not giving a "feck" about such things provided you feel strongly in sympathy with the party's main flagship policy and the party is of the "right".

ps.I am glad to see you are taking a keen interest in the differences between race and ethnicity

You obviously didn't understand the point I was making.

Voting for UKIP is a protest vote. I know they aren't going to lead the next government. My top concerns, other than the economy, are immigration and the EU. So examining every policy detail or concerning myself with every comment some individual makes is only the reserve of the political sado. However, they have a small chance of being a minor partner to the Tories come the May electoral roundabout. In that event they can ensure that the Tories keep strong on their EU promises.

Finally regarding race and ethnicity. I referred to the difference between race and culture. Ethnicity is a more inclusive word that can include physical appearance and hence race.

You can be culturally British and have genes from whatever part of the world. In that case I'm going to prefer that environment. This statement shouldn't be confused with the idea that this means that I think that most other cultures are 'inferior' or 'undeserving'. The word preference is just that and I've enjoyed the company of many different people from around the world in my time. I just believe that a country's first loyalty should be to their own.

My loyalty is towards humankind. I don't give a monkeys where someone is from. If they're a cund I stay away, if not I get on with them.
Your I prefer my own kind smacks of xenophobia.

That's just your simplistic understanding of things Nick.

I'm culturally biased and you're politically biased.....The thing is....I think I'm far less culturally biased than you are politically.

I noticed that you didn't respond to my post about you being willing to live inbetween UKIP voters.

Also, if your first loyalty is to human kind then you're a hypocrite....Because really you should be where you are most needed, which is out where the poorest are.

Instead, I suspect your first loyalty is to yourself and those closest to you....As it is for most.

I suspect I do live in between UKIP voters...I also suspect the issue might be not whether I am willing to live between them (no problem) but how they might feel if my family was replaced by a family of recent immigrants...

Well, despite our disagreements, you do come across as quite a tolerant person.....So it's more an observation of Nick.

Your politics is biased towards the haves, mine towards the have not.
I suspect that one of my next door neighbours will vote UKIP. I haven't moved house because of it.

I live next door to Eastern Europeans.....It's about preference not spending thousands on moving. I was criticized for preference....I think somewhat hypercritically.

Also my politics frequently refer to the difficulties of the working classes....From which I come and have spent all my life living amongst I find your description of my politics again to be inaccurate.

You on the other hand have no preferred loyalty to the British poor...unlike the original Labour party... but instead to the world's poor.

Yet your taxes go entirely to the British state instead of the world's poorest.....If you truly cared enough you'd move out to India: where the world's poorest exist.

Your policies are full of criticisms for those that have....Some of which I agree with a bit....But there is a certain hypocritical bent to that because like the 'haves' you also act in your best interest.

At least the 'haves' contain people who are honest about it.

As you stated Nick, your first loyalty is to human kind......Well, I'm quite honest and I'll say my first loyalty is to my close family and myself and those I feel closest to.

Of course my first loyalty is towards my family, that's a given. That's why my politics is like it is. Like you I was brought up on council estates and Tower blocks. I have no affinity with those who wish to divert money and resources from the have not to the haves. You are supporting a party bankrolled by ex Tories who are interested in further transference of wealth and passing public assets into private hands. That doesn't sit easy with me. It does for you. That's your prerogative.

By supporting parties that support the current immigration policy you are connected to supporting the worsening in living conditions for the poorest in relation to jobs and housing and infrastructure.

I think that it is you and the modern left abandoning the actual real reality of the British poor in this country.

It's reflected in you preferring the world's poor to this nation's.

This nation is part of the world or do you think we are in a bubble?

It's a fallacy that immigration is the main cause of your list of woes. Under investment and poor working conditions and pay are the cause. I'm sure I've read in more than one place that immigration increases our budget.

Your family is apart of humanity....So why is your preference to your family first?

The answer is obvious. You feel connected to your family......I care for humanity as well....Helping other countries is a proud tradition.

But it's a perverse ideology that equates the needs of your own nation as having equal priority to all nations......It's illogical and madness....nay it's communism.

You don't do it for your family.....So why should you expect the entire nation to do that for other nations?

No nation on earth sees things this way.

As for immigration......It's a simplistic answer to say 'we need more money'.....It's an excuse.....We are never going to have 'enough money'.

But what you have supported is making the situation worse by supporting increasing the population massively in a few short years.

The poor were always going to suffer because of that.

And it's your politics that are to blame for that suffering....Not mine.

I've seen the British miss out on jobs. I've seen families stuck on waiting lists to be homed.....Having Less population in poor areas would have improved their situations.

That's your lot.....That's what you have done for the British poor in this country.

The Polish awarded a medal to Blair for his contribution to their working classes......That's reality...What did the British working classes think of that?.......You don't like Blair but you supported that policy.

Again, Nick you like it both ways.

You have had masses and masses of opportunities to speak out about it.....But instead you haven't.

No one is saying it affects those other than the British poor......For the middle classes and higher who live in nicely unaffected areas or rich areas of London its a useful benefit to them.

Those on the left who recognitise the obvious problem...They either just don't talk about their failure of the poor or they stick their head in the sand and make excuses....Like saying that 'more money' is the real problem.

'More money....more money'....'more money'.....It's the connection you lot have to bankers.

You lot opened the gates.....What you don't complain about you....by definition accept.
