So what? It remains relevant to the discussion about who does most to help these people.

Still doesn't require duplication.

During WW1 we took in 250,000 Belgians in no time at all. We even gave them their own piece of sovereign territory in the North East for the duration. The real spirit of a Great Blighty and the polar opposite of what UKIP are about. They would have turned them back into the waiting barrels of The Hun.

Not everyone's been in the discussion for the whole 7 pages and those who haven't deserve to know the facts, however inconvenient they may appear to some.

Not true.

You shouldn't say such stuff Kermy. Farage has said many times that he believes in genuine asylum and I and many others of the right do as well.

Personally I don't believe that knowingly leaving people to die in the Med is acceptable whatever the manipulation is.

Of course Michael. Whatever you say.

PS. You are officially UKIP obsessed.

I am merely an amateur in comparison with your hyperactive obsession to perpetually undermine the left Matthew and in any which way you can. You should be thanking them you ungrateful oik. Paid holidays, free health care/education, health and safety at work, etc.

It's relevant to me and my opinion on the whole matter.

You mentioned an historical event and an opinion of what a current political party would have done, rather randomly.

A blockade on Lybia? The EU obviously has to stop them dying but the voters in the EU don't want 100,000 unskilled immigrants. They have to deter them or stop them from reaching Europe too.
