Pete We had a TV programme over here a couple of nights ago about the poor girls and their families. I'm afraid I ended up turning it off as it brought tears to my eyes. I have a 7 year old grand-daughter named Holly who as you can imagine we love so much and I just couldn't imagine how devastated and distraught the girls families were and have been since.

I tend to be with the despotic banana over his theories - Huntley deserves what he's getting - partly, perhaps, for not dealing with his problems - whereby its not utterly inconceivable he could have learned to live with his problems rather than acting on them. Thats what we would want to see. Life isn't good and evil, its different shades of grey. Oh, and to jannali - am a New Zealander (half) myself - get yourself over there. Great place - Auckland's cool, the rest of the country is awesome too.
