This insult makes my blood boil why do we worry about other cultures this is England the home of St George

Born in Syria, of all places. The b******.

The incident has nothing to do with offending cultures or "civilians" ...some idiotic manager at the hospital should be reassigned to clean the lavatories. It's the most appropriate job for their level of experience and intellect.

Oh the irony. If St George rocked up at Heathrow, all these "patriots" wouldn't let him. Can't be his home; he's not British.

Yes, he came from somewhere around there. Patron saint of Egyptian Christians too.

Being quite serious, what would you do? You're a nurse. Two weeks ago, there's a fight in the waiting room because someone was offended by a uniform. Today, another uniform comes in to a packed waiting room. Surely you could be forgiven, as you're rushed to do your job (which we all know nurses are) for quickly thinking "just to be safe, I'll politely ask this chap to sit next door. We don't want trouble and it might be best for everyone." There's no malice, inexperience, lack of intellect or anything else there; just someone trying to do her job to the best of her ability. OK, she may (or may not) have made the best decision in the world but there's nothing you can really criticise about it. At worst, she made an honest mistake that could be addressed by a quiet word. Possibly, she did the right thing. If this is the NHS' most serious error then we're all much better off than we thought. Why are so many people determined to make a story where there isn't one?

We must disown all links with this foreigner. If there's one thing I've learned from here it's that your allegiance must begin and end solely based on landmass you can cover on your push bike.

Could not agree with you more. It's hard to believe my dad fought in a war against fascism so people like Tom would be at liberty to spout this sort of crap. He'd be turning in his grave if he heard it.

What did I say that was crap?

Please paste whatever it was

What I said was that Muslims are behind most conflicts in the world and that Muslims are also carrying out wide spread rapes. Both are very sad facts i'm afraid. You can disagree all you like.

Wrong. The nastier conflicts by numbers killed are in mostly Muslim countries but from the list of ongoing stuff worldwide the majority are not Muslim related.

The vast majority of rapes too in the UK are not committed by Muslims. There may be a disproportionality thing happening I don't know.

Pleased to rain on your stupid crusade.

No crusade Kermit - just speaking with facts.
Sorry but i'm not wrong - Muslims are behind most of the worlds conflicts.

You are wrong Tom. You are just scared of the truth. Research it. There are around 60 armed conflicts ongoing worldwide and less than half involve Muslims and much less than that involve fundamentalism.

You can still have your opinions but no need for hysteria.

I doubt a nurse would make that decision. An administrator would.

If there really was a problem with Isis supporters roaming the wards looking for reasons to behead people then I might usher the sergeant into a quiet area and pull the curtains.

Lot of fuss about nothing - give the manager toilet cleaning duty for a month and allow medical staff to do their jobs free from politics. If people don't understand the idea that a hospital is a place for ALL sick people then they probably have no place there.
