Sad to see the usual suspects still trying to rationalise another vote.

How brain dead and deluded are you people?

What if you lose again? Will you want another one just in case there were a few things left that the public wasn't clear about.

Or maybe you think that Brexit is such a mess that we should just have another vote because that will fix it?

Are you nuts?
Brexit is a mess because of Remainers and your delaying tactics are prolonging the agony.

Is there anyone here who really thinks that our democracy delivers?

Really how does May square that with her governments contempt of parliament, the first ever and only a week ago.

she should have resigned at that point, and I am afraid, called an election but today's right wing is totally morally bankrupt.

I think there's something to what you say here......But what else? Isn't Churchill's words about it being the best of a bad range of options correct?

There are plenty of flaws with democracy.....it's a s***e sandwich but I certainly don't want China's system....Libertarianism sees a lot more people starving in the streets....Communism and Fascism end up with piles of bones....What else?

You have such a way with words.

If there is a groundswell of opinion for a People's Vote, sufficient that it stands a reasonable chance of success, automatically it is something that should happen. Otherwise it is not at all clear that Government is following the will of the people.

If then it is clear that the people overall have not changed their minds and they do want Brexit, that is an end to it. Currently there is no clarity. Automatically it is an end to it as once out, re-entering the EU would be almost impossible and the terms we would be given would be dreadful.

And currently it is Brexiteers that are blocking May just as much as Remainers.

I would be obliged for your view as to why so many MPs did not vote for Brexit, despite that weakening their roles in Parliament.

I do admire your endurance with this matter Maple.....I must admit....after ten minutes of Brexit.....my mind starts to turn to minces pies...

I've bought some rather nice brandy cream which will go down a treat.

Democracy means you respect the result - end of!

Answer may be to have a people' s commission made up of 500 randomly selected people to put some fresh options to Parliament. Right now they are stuck in concrete and there is no way to move it forward.

No. Democracy means 'Strength of the Common People'.

And if 'the common people' decide to have a vote of their own, that they jolly well shall have.

The will of the people two years ago is simply a bit of old history.

Disagree. We had the vote and that was a mandate to our Parliament. If they will not agree away forward then hand it to the people to resolve but not via a referendum that politicians will take months to agree the question to be put. A people's commission to produce alternatives is surely worth considering. I believe a second referendum will cause national strife and lead to the rise of right wing
influence.
