If you weren't aware, perhaps you should have done some research.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

I wasn't aware I could vote for any of them actually.

There's Robinson of course...he's working class but of course he's normie Satan apparently.....like they are all normie Satan.

Sense a pattern here?

Anyone on the right would start to get cynical.

Working class or toff.....it's all just disingenuous.....if it isn't your political tribe you're going to attack it using whatever angles you find.

I'm an atheist/agnostic but my views on abortion changed once I became a father.

I don't pretend to know the answers about all the problems around this topic but I respect the ethical position that a life in the womb deserves protection.

And you think that 'socialist' politicians do?

Gussett reincarnated.

My feeling exactly.
Once you have children, the idea of disposing of an unborn child becomes much harder to accept.
However, it's rarely that simple.

Apparently not quite how Jakey saw it:

He told The Mirror: “This is not something I would wish to invest in personally but you have a duty as an investment manager not to impose constraints on investors.”

Seems to imply that he sees himself as the Investment Manager with the duty.

That is a selective piece of quoting that is completely unworthy of you.

The full quote was:-

"I don’t manage the funds and haven’t done so since I became an MP. But the funds have to be run in accordance with the requirements of the investors and not according to my religious beliefs.

“This is not something I would wish to invest in personally but you have a duty as an investment manager not to impose constraints on investors.”

A firm awarded a government contract to provide extra ferry services has used website terms and conditions apparently intended for a takeaway food firm.

Seaborne Freight was given the £13.8m contract to run a freight service between Ramsgate and Ostend in the event of a no-deal Brexit.

Its original terms and conditions advised customers to check goods before "agreeing to pay for any meal/order".

Not bad eh 13.8 millions upfront, only one thing could be happening here.

They will do a runner.

Brexit means brexit.

This did make me chuckle

3 contracts awarded 42m to a Danish Ferry firm, 46m to a French, and a token 13m to a company with no ships based on a take away menu

This is us taking back control....

It hasn't been an Anglican "tradition" since 1930.

Can't help finding it at a bit odd that atheists subscribe to traditional christian values.

Are you saying that you believe in something that you don't believe in?

Yeah...that's right Stevie...in 1930 all the Anglicans started supporting abortion....It was right at the same time that Charlie Chaplin released his first punk record as a pink elephant flew over Westminster Abbey.

As for the record, being an atheist just means that you don't believe that there is a proven case for a god or gods.....It says nothing about what ethics or beliefs a person might hold other than that.

An agnostic doesn't take a position either way. It simply says these things are unknowable.

An atheist does take a position and says the case for supernatural beings is unproven.

They are similar and some people say an agnostic is simply a less committed form of atheist. However, there is a difference in emphasis.
