You sound like the SNP..it may come as a surprise but Scotland is part of the UK (they had a referendum remember) and therefore are bound by the vote. Are you saying they should be allowed to remain? If so, those areas that voted to leave should be allowed to leave, right?

My Spidey Sense tells me you didnt read the original exchange.

LBC are reporting that both the Home and Foreign secretary's requested a meeting with the PM to tell her to go and she refused to see them. She is now dodging her own cabinet.

She must be a Star Trek fan (Klingon).

PP is probably criticising those who let the truth come out....like a certain other poster on here who defended the hiding of the truth from the UK public concerning the rape gangs.

Andrea Leadsom has resigned and told Mrs May to go. Is this the first of many?

Ooooh Danny boy, the pipes, the pipes are plaaaayyying.

Doesn’t matter what you, me, Nigel Farage, or his dog want, sunshine.

His party dominating in the euro elections doesn’t make the slightest difference to the brexit impasse.

The only way out of that is another vote of some kind.

If the MEP's piss off the EU enough, and if, due to a change of PM we need to try and extend yet AGAIN to reach a settlement, the EU could well refuse rather than suffer the disruption that the MEP's can and will cause and BINGO - we are out of the EU with no deal, like it or not!

So it could very possibly make a huge difference.

I'm just highlighting the fact that they too will take a ride on the EU gravy train. It's more the MEP wages and workload that I'm taking a pop at than particularly the Brexit Party. I'm sure with a bit of research we could find out, and it would be interesting to know, how much anti-EU party politicians get paid by the EU. There is a whole bloc of them I believe. I have to find it amusing that they still take their inflated pay, perks and expenses; don't you?

Personally, I'm quite jealous, I would like to actively work against my employer but still get great wages. I wonder if I have any chance of ever being an EU politician? I guess not as I'm not a failed politician in my first career.

I had a few drinks once with the EU Commisioner for Higher Education (at the time) Andreas Habermas (or similar). We watched the rugby in Brussells - he asked me what I thought of EU politicians. I said something like 'That is where we send our retired or failed MPs, it is basically an extra pension fund for them'. He laughed and was not at all shocked, although he admitted it was a shame 'many viewed it that way'.

He was from Austria I believe and perhaps they have a different view of EU members of parliament - as he was not that old - probably younger than me at the time. He told me some amusing stories about some of Ireland's representatives. All of them seemed plausible.

hiding the truth yourself there.

they were predominantly pakistani Rape Gangs, although they did often involve a panoply of other Muslim nationalities.

If I was hiding something it wasn't deliberate.

In that case revoking article 50 would have more support in parliament that no deal, I would wager.

As the bickering here continues its upward trajectory, so do the problems at Deutsche Bank (along with the EU financial system in general tbh).
Impossible as it seems to many, some things are far more important than Brexit.
