If Parliament decides that it wishes to consult the people again it can do so on whatever terms it decides.

My preference would be to cancel the whole debacle and hold a 5 year moratorium during which we negotiate a revised relationship with the EU which probably means we would stop being full members but have some kind of associate membership. That though seems unlikely to happen for a variety of reasons so my solution would be to request an extension for 6 months, hold a GE later this year and let the new Parliament decide what to do next. If the Tories, Brexit Party and DUP gain a majority then we leave with no deal. If the opposition Parties who desire a second referendum gain a majority then we hold a referendum, much as I dislike them. If there is a hung Parliament then compromises will need to be sought.

Didnt we try for years to get a revised relationship and ended up banging our heads against the wall as the EU dont negotiate, they tell others what will happen?
