Another one? [Link]

If it's coming before long it would appear to be the best time to do so for the Tories. There's also a decent chance of it being set, or moved, to the day after Brexit to snuff out the Brexit Party vote. Interesting times.

What is Johnson's majority now? One?

It's a no brainer that he has to close down parliament and 'cock a deaf un'....and a no brainer that he has to go to the polls sooner rather than later.

All the normie little old ladies are going to vote Johnson or Farage and if he makes a deal with Farage then it's game set and match in the bag with a reasonable majority.

Unless Labour do a deal with the Lib Dems.....now that would be interesting.

Johnson does not call for a GE however within his speech it hints that if he loses tomorrow he will call for a GE.

"There is no circumstance in which I will ask for an extension"

I think he is preparing the ground to blame the opposition if we go to a GE.

Hot air from a ridiculous clown.

What is it about Tory PMs that they have to whine on like this for support from outside Number 10.

We are not MPs we could not do anything anyway.

There is nothing ironic involved in believing in the supremacy of Parliament as the place where final decisions are made. Referendums have no place in our system. The 2016 one only gained any legitimacy through Parliament, which they can just as easily remove.

But the government promised a referendum, gave a referendum and PROMISED to honour the result of the referendum, yet you and many others are doing their utmost to overturn the result...will you also query the result of a general election IF you dont gert the result you want? Corbyn fan are you?

To try to counter the effect of Farage and the promise made by Cameron of course I did.

That though doesn't mean I approved of it being held.

I thoroughly disapproved and was very vocal about that at the time.

However it was held and it would have been foolish in the extreme to allow those who believed the garbage thrown out by the Leave campaigns to just have a walk over.

He did answer.

That it hasn't yet found the way doesn't mean it cannot and it certainly doesn't mean it will allow itself to be sidelined. It will do what is necessary.

You said that it is the will of the current Parliament that they do not want us to leave the EU without first agreeing a deal. I'm making the point is that they've had three goes and failed each time. Maybe withdrawing the whip will focus minds, but I think Parliament has been pretty useless.

How many times did we get on this thread from remainers that Brexit couldn't happen and was never going to happen?

Remember all that criticism about how the 'leavers' responsible for the Brexit vote have all run away? Don't hear that now do you.

Funny how a government led by actual Brexiters changes things eh......the tune is definitely different now.

Dominic Cummings was right.....the Remainers missed the boat....the 'dirty tricks, remain at all costs' brigade were given a taste of their own medicine by the 'leave at all costs' brigade.
