The old who voted for Brexit were young when they voted to join Europe in the 70s and have witnessed its demise. Hopefully a transition period will be agreed with the EU regarding aviation because it won't be sorted out in an afternoon. No deal means no fly. Aviation is not regulated by the WTO therefore is no WTO no deal option. We can not return to previous bilateral EU agreements as these are null and void due to Open Skies. We would most likely have to reach an agreement with the EU similar to the USA and Canada. The EU will attempt to divert transatlantic traffic from Heathrow to Frankfurt, Paris and Amsterdam. UK services to non EU states will also be effected. Once we leave we will lose 114 agreements neogiated by EU with non-member states. Recent talks with the US broke down due to them being unwilling to offer better terms than exist currently with the EU.
I have prepared one of my own time capsules. I have placed some rather large samples of dynamite, gunpowder and nitroglycerin. My time capsule is set to go off in the year 3000. It will show them what we are really like. |

Because when these matters get into actual detail they just fall to bits? Two years on but they can't run forever Mrs May and her minority millionaires and landlords.

The reality is aviation is a huge money spinner for all nations. The UK has the fifth/sixth highest GDP in the world. It's disingenuous for anyone to make the suggestion that the business class are going to isolate the UK on aviation. Rules will adjust.
