I agree with this - a decent and committed squad player. The type that keeps running and will play where he is put without complaining. Fed up with Divas.

Would be a very good signing, and would add a lot of flexibility to the squad as striker/winger, provided he can actually hack it at PL level; a big step up from the Championship which some have done conspicuously well (eg Bolasie) and some less convincingly (eg Sakho)

Err...this isn't quite accurate. Sako was in the championship team of the season and scored a lot of goals. He's not a good footballer but he did well in the league below. I don't think anyone however optimistic could say that Robson Kanu would be a very good singing. He's a bit like Doyle.

Surely he's okay as a back-up? He did play well in Euro 16 didn't he? Some quality opposition there - ask the England team!

There doesn't appear to be a great clamour for his services from PL clubs does there ?

Made me chuckle! So flippin true.

If we are really going to sign him, we should just forget it and (can't believe I'm going to say this) keep Cambell, nothing to choose between the two.

They are both Crap and keep players like Kaikai away from the bench and some invaluable premiership experience.

I'd rather we bought Ladapo back off loan than play Cambell.

Anyone who saw him play last year knows he couldn't finish his dinner or trap a bag of cement.

Awful player, who is past his best, whatever that was. HRK is no better.

HRK is a typical Parish signing.

Well, we havn't signed hiom yet, but if we do, re-signing Zaha from Manure was a 'typical' signing too, and represented a risk at the time, which has come off pretty well on the whole. As for HRK, lets give hime the benefit of the doubt. If he plays as he did at the euros for Wales, we would all be pretty happy. If he doesn't then at least we wouldn't have shelled out £30m+.

If we sign Benteke and it doesnt come off, or gets a long-term injury, then that is really a high risk signing, And we would have wasted the best part of 250 pages!

I find it hard to believe that we would be favourites to sign ahead of :-

A. Leicester - PL champions and Champions league football
B. Swansea - a home welsh club (unless he's a Cardiff supporter)

OK, probably wouldn't want to move to Scottish football.

There were apparently four PL clubs interested him but apparently they must all be stupid. Our fans are better judges - especially comparing him to Doyle. Doyle was well past it but don't let that worry anyone.
