Weren't Norwich interested in Jordan Mutch a window or two ago? Can't we throw him in the deal? I suppose with £12mil or close to it they want to widen their options.

I think Reading were interested as well. I am sure a number of fringe players will move on in this window (if anyone wants them!) to create space for the incomings

I assume it's why we've let so many contracts expire in recent years.

I'm curious about his best position. I remember him playing as a winger for Norwich...at least that's the impression I got. Now it seems he is a fully converted left back. I know he has always been able to play both full back and either wing...but is left back his best position?

Could we not offer £12 million in cash, or £13 million plus Jordan Mutch. I would happily drive him there if that would help. Having watched his efforts now he has been given a chance, I never want to see the bloke in a Palace shirt again. I am refusing to buy tickets for the Bolton replay until it is confirmed that he is not in the matchday squad.
